I realize I might offend some people, even anger others. That is not my intention I only intend to give you some things to think about, but I can’t promise they won’t bring out some anger, or hurt in the process. I was born into a world that is out of control, and I can’t just sit quietly by and watch the self-destruction that is taking place. I need to reach out and try to help heal some of the hurt, so we may move past those things into a better place, therefore creating a better place
What we need is: Grand thinkers, empathetic people, and people who can look beyond their own little worlds.
People seem so quick to anger, yell and get their points across, but nobody says anything when they see something morally displeasing.
People watch crimes being committed on others- even videotaping it, but never acting to intervene.
Speak out when you are confronted with something you know heart and spirit just isn’t right.
I am urging all to speak out against Ugliness you encounter from the smallest thing to the largest.
Whatever it is, bring it to light ugliness and evil acts love the darkness in which to hide.
If you encounter a person being rude to another – Say something!
If you encounter an unruly child in public and a clearly exasperated parent- Say something to the child to back up the parents demand for better behavior.
Likewise, if you see a parent being verbally, mentally or physically abusive to their young- Say something.
Whatever the case, now is the time to stop going along to get along and go ahead and Speak Out against all this ugliness in the world.
The Self is an amazing tool, in which we can employ a greater sense of ourselves in this world. We have important parts to The Self.
Our Mind: Thinking, forming our perceptions of our self and the world.
Our Body: The physical part that can interact with the physical world.
Our Spirit: The part we should cherish and love, the part that is always seeking to be better, improving our selves until we can experience the grandest sense of ourselves as who we are.
When these 3 are out of sync with each other; chaos ensues.
In our minds, we don’t love ourselves, we think about ourselves dissecting the parts we don’t like, or wish were different, sometimes loving the wrong thing about ourselves. “At this time, people are turning to plastic surgery and such, trying to change physical parts of their body in order to change their mind about their feelings of self.” You will always be yourself no matter what you have, or what physical changes that take place. Until people realize their own power over what they think they may be stuck on a painful road going nowhere. “If you are being loving and caring to all… What’s not to love?” I don’t care about anything else except how people treat other people- and neither should you!
Spiritual life is eternal. Physical life is not.
Knowing this; which is more important for you in the long run…?
The appeasing of your body in the physical world or the pleasing of your spirit on its journey; What’s more important the fact that while you lived you had a lot of money and fine honeys or the fact that you loved the world around you and the people in it, causing joy and love wherever you went.
Whatever they think, feel, or have gone through is taken out on one another. From school yard bullies picking on other children to a general nasty encounter with an anonymous stranger.
We go around trying to gain a better sense of self by lashing out on others and making them feel bad….
This is clearly not working.
The messages come to us in blockbuster movies, songs on the radio, words in a poem, an inspirational quote, and many others. But their messages all speak to the same.
Love!
Love yourself, love your family, love each other, and love the world.
Whether people admit it or not, everyone wants to be loved, but few really know what it means, and a lot fail to achieve it even after spending a lifetime searching for it.
If you don’t really know what it is? Then how can you ever know how to give it and receive it?
This world needs love but do we know what it is?
You tell me…
Define love here…
It’s hard to admit our faults and bad deeds. For some people so impossible they simply refuse to believe what they already know. “A hard headed individual, who refuses to look beyond themselves to see the bigger picture, can be a danger to society.”
I think we need to teach our children better while they are young and their minds are honest and open. Reaching out to help the children seems to be the better solution in the long run. Giving them access to a better quality of life, and giving the generations they will create a better chance at a better quality of life. Read my article on Children’s Education.
Once you are born you are living a life of which romances of you will be left behind. Your Legacy. What will your legacy be? Will you leave love behind when you part, or will you leave behind something ugly.
The government for the people by the people have set up programs and departments to assist and help society during certain times or events in their life.
In my opinion, it is a failing effort, a band-aid on a wound that is spreading, we need to overhaul the way we see things, and do things. Working toward effectively bringing about positive changes to people that can in turn eliminate the need for many other social programs.
